Where would we start?
- Often Agency leaders I talk to can’t see the wood for the trees….that’s why they are talking to me. However, they’re not exactly sure how they can use me or how to move forward.
- To get the ball rolling, I’ve developed an Agency review framework. It’s not rocket-science but it does represent a roadmap of sorts that can stimulate a conversation around areas of the business that may need attention or where we can get some quick-wins.
- This framework is not supposed to be prescriptive, it's designed so Agency Leaders can choose a jumping-off point and understand all the areas where I can add value. This could be across the entire business, a business area or a specific deliverable.
1/ Map the Business
No matter the size of your Agency, everything ladders up to these roles, defined by the business drivers; Leadership, Margin, Growth and Scalability. This is as complex as it needs to be.
Mapping the business is an information gathering exercise to quickly ascertain gaps, identify opportunities and prioritise 'low-hanging' business improvement wins.
This would be the first opportunity to engage with the broader team. Positioned correctly, the team will see this as an investment in the future of the Agency and their place in it.
These 12 business areas are expanded upon in each C-Level role in the menu above.
2/ Mine the Business
With the business mapped and prioritised, we can start digging deeper into the areas that need attention, analysing gaps and asking critical questions to build an action plan.
Going deeper allows me to work closely with your Senior Leaders building trust and rapport. Positively engaging your Senior Leaders is imperative for ongoing success, as these will be the people charged with leading and delivering change.
I have a number of tools and processes that can quickly capture and organise this information to present back to you and the business.
3/ Align the Business
Aligning the Business is where rubber hits the road. It's developing a clearly defined plan, owned, embraced, cultivated and delivered by the entire business from the top down, integrating all the business drivers together like a well oiled machine.
We workshop, design, build, craft, brand, integrate, upload, download and launch. Your re-energised Senior Leaders pick up the ball and lead. The momentum and energy can be game changing.
If every person in your Agency could positively impact just one of these 12 business areas, the step-change would be enormous.
We just need to show them how.
4/ Propel the Business
So with the Agency aligned, moving forward and picking up speed. Where do you want to go to next?
Invest, expand overseas, disrupt, pivot, diversify, rebrand, acquire, merge, JV, succession planning, exit or even sell. It all requires thinking, bouncing, what-if scenario planning and plenty of chat.
By getting to know you and your business I can support your aspirations no matter how ambitious they may be.
